We hope you and your family are staying safe and well during this unprecedented time. Throughout this ongoing ordeal, your health is our top priority.
As you know, we at West End Pediatrics are adhering to our usual business hours and have implemented strict sanitizing practices to mitigate the spread of germs in the office. Given recent developments in Washington, we have decided to make the following scheduling adjustment: we will now only see well visits/annual physicals between 8:30am to 3:30pm and will begin seing sick visits after 4:00pm. To ensure the rooms are 100-percent clean, we are temporarily suspending our 8:00 to 9:00 sick walk-in hours; but we will be available by phone should you feel the need to talk to someone.
We do believe that social distancing is best practice, and we understand that you may want to avoid coming into the doctors’ office out of an abundance of caution. Due to the overwhelming volume of calls we have received, we will be offering video consultations (virtual visits) via phone for select sick visits and consults. These visits are billable to your insurance, and are more in-depth than a standard after-hours phone call.
We appreciate your time and look forward to returning to our regular schedule — hopefully in the near future.
